Discover the impact that enzymes and probiotics could have on feed efficiency and healthy performance.
Instructions:
1st - select one of the below
2nd - select one of the named gut areas
The high soluble and non-soluble, non-starch polysaccaride (NSP) content of modern poultry diets increases feed viscosity and retention time in the gut, which can increase nutrient availability for organisms that can negatively affect the bird. This impact on gut health can reduce feed digestibility and affect the efficacy of feed enzymes: ultimately this will have an effect on bird performance and feed cost.
Look for products which contain xylanase, amylase and protease, and which rapidly digests NSP, starch and protein in complex diets. This limits the nutrients available to organisms that negatively impact performance, and improves digestibility by releasing nutrients retained by starch and protein effectively to the bird. The probiotic component will help establish a beneficial gut flora and an environment unfavourable to the overgrowth of poultry pathogens such as APEC and C. Perfringens.
This synergistic combination of technologies ensures maximum efficacy of feed enzymes by maintaining a healthy gut environment conducive to nutrient absorption.
